Film and Sound Recording Studios in the Port |
|
Our new studios are coming to historic Dale Street, Port Adelaide. The traditional custodians of this area are the Kaurna people. Dale Street was named after Captain Henry Dale, who arrive in South Australia around 1850. Our premises were built in 1868 for the Harbourmaster, Captain Hugh Quin. Back from Brisbane, we are seasoned filmmakers and sound recordists, having made numerous singles, EPs, music videos, short films and a feature film. We also specialise in vocal training. Our equipment includes several HD video cameras, Pro Tools HD, various of the ultimate tube mic pre-amps and numerous Neumann, Rode and Shure mics. We are convenient to the Port Adelaide train station, the Port Mall and the Port Canal shopping centre. For a relaxing break, walk around to the local Port Lighthouse or museums like the South Australian Aviation Museum, Railways Museum or Maritime Museum. Wander the Fishermen's Wharf Markets on Sundays. Check out the many local pubs and wine cellars, like the Port Anchor Hotel (just a few steps away), or the Newmarket Hotel in Dale Street. You can even go on the Port Heritage Pub Trail and discover the various pubs that offer live music most nights of the week. Only just over 2 km away is the Semaphore beach for a great swim.
